About us

Cale is short for Caledonia – the Latin name for Scotland. You’ll notice subtle nods to Scotland throughout our branding, including the Saltire hidden within our logo.

Cale Collective was created because dancers deserved better options. We were tired of choosing between activewear that looked like activewear, oversized merch that didn’t fit quite right, and streetwear that wasn’t designed to move.

We design elevated streetwear inspired by movement, music and community. Pieces that feel just as at home at a dance class, a line dancing social, a coffee run or a long-haul flight. Clothes you can actually live in.

While dancers are at the heart of what we do, Cale was never intended to be exclusive. It’s for anyone who wants to feel comfortable, confident and like themselves.

Community has always been one of the most important parts of dance, and we wanted to capture that feeling through clothing. Whether you’ve been dancing for twenty years, have just walked into your first class, or simply appreciate well-made streetwear, you’ll find a place here.
